The Medici Frame

Richly ornamented with scrolling botanical motifs, The Medici Frame takes its cues from the decorative language of Renaissance interiors.

A warm bronze-gold ground is layered with raised antique gold detailing, while a finely beaded inner edge draws the eye towards the artwork. Elaborate without feeling overly polished, the aged tonal finish gives the frame the character of a collected piece.
Our frame collection brings together sculptural profiles, layered finishes and details drawn from traditional European framing. Each design is selected for the way it interacts with an artwork, from restrained ivory and bronze-gold profiles to deeper, more decorative finishes. Materials and finishes vary by design. Please refer to the individual product page for details specific to each frame.
Each frame is available in a curated selection of sizes designed for prints, photography and works on paper. Please select your required size from the individual product page. Dimensions and construction may vary between frame styles.
Dust gently using a clean, soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, excessive moisture and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat. Handle decorative finishes with care and lift the frame from its sides rather than from ornamental detailing.
Each frame is carefully prepared for dispatch and securely packaged for safe delivery. In-stock pieces are typically dispatched within 1 to 3 business days. Made-to-order pieces have individual lead times, which are noted on the product page. Returns are accepted in accordance with our returns policy. Items must be returned unused and in their original condition.
